Any chance you could consider an option to move the mention/notification switch to the bottom of the screen? With it on the opposite side of the screen from the main icon bar, it’s hard to reach.

in reply to Ivory by Tapbots • • •Very nice! Are you planning to add the Notification Requests (docs.joinmastodon.org/methods/…) in the next version? At the moment, it may cause some notifications to never be displayed in Ivory.
Our design has them displayed inside a banner at the top of notification screens, and it would be good to also have those settings somewhere:

I’ve killed & restarted the app but haven’t yet delved into more drastic options like deleting the cache.

in reply to Ivory by Tapbots • • •yes, have done. on first view of the mentions only tab it loaded only the last 7 mentions (all from you). scrolling back further loaded 1-2 additional mentions at a time, slowly - but then stopped. switching to another tab then coming back to mentions only - now only mentions from you again, the handful of earlier ones I was able to load have disappeared
cf. testing on other apps where I consistently get ~3-4 weeks of mentions on initial view load & can then scroll back indefinitely & they just load, quickly

in reply to itgrrl • • •is it possible that Ivory doesn't play nicely with iOS lockdown mode? it's one of the few apps that doesn't show up in the list under lockdown mode settings so I don't have any way to disable lockdown mode for Ivory to test
since last time I've deleted the cache again, completely deleted Ivory, rebooted phone, then reinstalled & re-added account. same issue, but now applies not just to mentions but also boosts & likes, none at all are loading regardless of how recent they were created
